Hilary Duff will join the cast of Gossip Girl this fall.
The singer-actress will play Olivia Burke, a famous movie star who enrolls at the New York University in search of a normal college experience. Olivia will be roommates with Vanessa. (Jessica Szohr)
Duff’s first appearance will be on this season’s upcoming fourth episode to be aired on October 5.
