Tim Burton Alice in Wonderland is a CGI film adaptation of a Lewis carrol classic. Tim Burton Alice in Wonderland includes Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter, Anne Hathaway as the White Queen, and Helena Bonham-Carter as the Red Queen. When I asked my sister about Tim Burton Alice in Wonderland, all she can give was Dorothy and her red slippers, which is obviously the Wizard of Oz. I wonder how Tim Burton made such adaptation as Alice in Wonderland, Sweeney Todd among others with so much strangeness and fantasy combined.

Interestingly, this is a sequel after the Disney 1951 animated film. "Alice, 17, takes part in a party, where she is about to get proposed. She escapes the party, follows a white rabbit down a hole, back to Wonderland, a place she once visited, but she doesn't remember her past visit to Wonderland, 10 years ago. The White Rabbit is convinced that he has the right girl, the one who had visited the magical land.
Burton said about Alice: "she just had that certain kind of emotional toughness, standing her ground in a way that makes her kind of an older person with a younger person's mentality."
