The Time of Our Lives EP soundtrack scheduled for release on August 31. Lyrics of carrier single "Party in the USA" as popularized by Hannah Montana teen sensation Myley Cyrus will be sold exclusively at American Wal-Mart stores. "Party in the U.S.A." is an up-tempo track with "semi-autobiographical" lyrics that center around Miley Cyrus's move from Nashville, Tennessee to Los Angeles, California. Miley Cyrus performed "Party in the USA" while pole dancing and skimpy shorts in the Teen Choice Awards August 10.
For some, the pole dancing was very inappropriate for a 16-year-old like Miley and most especially that Miley's fanbase is composed mostly of teenagers and kids.
A lot of people has labeled Miley now as the next Britney Spears (2009 Ultimate Choice Awardee) because of that "pole dancing" performance.
